The Miracle Paint MDC-2-C-EXP Challenger counter and MDC-2-P-EXP Challenger pedestal paint mixers are designed for specialty mixing applications. The explosion proof drive motor is sealed and is approved for a Class I, Group D environment. When you need a paint shaker for a mix room with open flammable products, always get certification of compliance from your inspector. Also, remember that Explosion Proof mixers are electric paint shakers and must be installed by a qualified electrician.

To ensure compliance with the hazardous environment you are mixing in, a solid or flexible sealed conduit will be required that is rated for your application. The electric paint shaker’s motor has an integrated explosion proof switch so additional switching is not required. The switch bar provides easy and quick access to power. Consult your electrician for timer options that are in compliance with your mixing room.
