These mixers are designed for use in a Class I, Group D environment such as mix rooms. In this environment, exposed flammable products create a fire risk and all electrics in the room require full explosion proof casing. Always get certification of compliance from your inspector to ensure you are in compliance with safety codes. Explosion Proof mixers must be installed by a certified electrician.

Explosion proof mixers are hardwired into your electric source with solid or flexible sealed conduit that is rated for your application. Also, these mixers need to be secured to a solid surface to ensure maximum safety. An integrated switch lever provides switching to your power source. If you require a timer, consult your electrician for certified timer options.
